Why…

I am basically using these pages to tell you why I advocate my diet as such.

People often ask me why soy free? Isn’t soy vegan? ‘Ok, I can understand meat, but why fish? Fish don’t suffer, do they. And what’s wrong with dairy? It’s not like the dairy died screaming to be in your belly.’

Well, actually, I have an answer for all of those questions and statements, just very little time and patience (not mine, their patience, often). So, these pages are my way of expressing to you (a much wider audience than simply people who ask me in my every day life) the knowledge and reasoning I have accumulated since being vegan – I think you will benefit from it very much.

So there are five main food categories I avoid for 3 main reasons: health, animals, environment.

Check out each page, each page is different and full of interesting and mind opening facts.

Have an open mind, that’s all I’m asking of you. And be reasonable.

When I say reasonable, I mean these three things:
Contemplate and absorb each point.
Accept what is true.
Refrain from rejecting/ accepting any points/ conclusions based on your personal preferences, emotions, and social norms.

Now, you might say what is truth? What can we know to be true?
Well, when discussing matters such as animal welfare, veganism, nutrition, and environmental politics, what we should know to be true is that which is proven scientifically. This may mean in the form of statistics, conducting tests to find out things, and finding out things through objective data – data which does not need the human senses to be interpreted – it is just true.
